Anchor's Bonnet is first worked back and forth in rib segments. Then the back of the head is worked in the round in stockinette stitch with decreases. It is finished with an i-cord edge along the neck, which ends in two ties.
The rib knit piece is elastic and will expand and mold to the baby's head.
