This recipe is a paper version.
Make a swatch before you start to find the needle size that gives you the right gauge. Be aware that patent knit is difficult to measure as it is elastic, so measure all distances several times.
Size Guide
The September Sweater should have apositive ease of about 15 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 97 cm around your chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A size L sweater. L sweater has an overall width of 113 cm and will in this example provide apositive ease of 16 cm.
The model in the picture wears a size XS. XS and has a chest measurement of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
Please note that patent knit will expand slightly in width when washed and in use. Therefore, you can expect your September Sweater to grow approximately 5-8 cm in width compared to the measurements given on the front of the pattern.
