  • Thursday: 12:00 - 17:30
  • Friday: 12:00 - 17:30
  • Saturday: 10 am - 1 pm - closed 24/12 and 31/12.
  • Other days by appointment.

Kreativgarn.dk er startet ud fra min passion for farver og spændende garn. Her  fokuserer jeg på garn i uld, silke, hør eller bomuld. Og som en ekstra bonus er en stor del af det garn jeg forhandler økologisk eller GOTS certificeret. Det betyder at der i fremstillingen tages hensyn til miljøet.

In my search for hand-dyed yarn, I came across the fantastic yarn from Manos del Uruguay. The yarn is fair trade certified, which means that the women who spin and dye the yarn are ensured a fair income that they and their families can live on.

In addition to these obvious advantages, the yarn is fantastic to work with. It is incredibly soft and has a beautiful play of colors.

Focus on ecology and fair trade

Ecology and fair trade are, for me, an opportunity to protect the environment and ensure good working conditions for people all over the world. I think it's fantastic that the world's poor women in particular are helped when you buy Manos del Uruguay (yarn) and Bolga baskets from Ghana. If Danish yarn-loving women shouldn't help, who should?

At the same time, the Manos del Uruguay yarn and the braided Bolga baskets are so delicious that you can't help but fall in love.
