This recipe is a paper version.
Hazel Neck is worked from the top down. First work the back, then the shoulders and front. Finally, pick up stitches for the neck turtleneck. This is doubled and worked down the wrong side.
Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the right gauge. Wash and block the swatch before measuring the gauge.
Please note that if you choose to knit in a yarn other than the recommended yarn, you should choose a yarn where the ribs "unfold/open" after washing.
Sizes: XS/S (M/L)
Measurements: Length: 50 (55) cm (mid back without turtleneck)
Shoulder width: approx. 41 (47) cm
Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 needle in rib (k3, p3) on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking
Recommended needle: 4 mm circular needle (60 cm), 3.5 mm circular needle (40 cm)
Materials: 200 (250) g Jensen from Isager Yarn (50 g = 125 sts) is worked together with 75 (75) g Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (25 g = 212 sts) or Tilia from Filcolana (25 g = 210 sts) or Brushed Lace from Mohair by Canard (25 g = 210 sts)
