NORO

Noro yarn in great colors and quality

According to the founder of Noro, Eisaku Noro, the Japanese have always loved the diversity of nature and this is the basis of the Noro yarn philosophy. Natural fibers have some special properties that man cannot copy, which is why you get these amazing and unique colorways in the yarn balls. To emphasize the love of the unusual and quirky, Noro yarn is made from different lengths and thicknesses of wool, which gives a structure reminiscent of the sheep's natural uneven wool. The unique structure of the yarn is achieved by using hand power and old spinning machines, and impurities in the wool are carefully removed by hand.

Luxury yarn from Noro in Japan

All wool used to make Noro yarns is sourced from organic farms in Australia, the Falkland Islands, South Africa and elsewhere. Designer and founder Eisaku Noro, now succeeded by his son, is personally involved in controlling every aspect of production, from visiting the farms to checking the machinery and dyeing processes used. So you get yarn that has been cared for and is of the highest quality. If you have any questions about our selection of Noro yarns, or if you would like advice on your purchase, you are very welcome to contact us so we can help you get started with this luxury yarn.
