The Christmas sock is embroidered with split DMC yarn, 3 threads on 7 thread Floba, which is most similar to embroidering on linen. Here you embroider over 2 threads both horizontally and vertically. There are 3.5 stitches per cm, so the fabric is fairly coarse and easy to embroider on.
Dimensions approx. 52 x 37 cm.
The embroidery kit contains:
Floba embroidery fabric with 7 threads per cm, i.e. 3.5 stitches per cm. Floba consists of 33% linen and 67% viscose and is super nice to embroider on.
Note: You will need a ribbon or strap from the leftover fabric to hang it up and sewing thread to sew the sock together.
We didn't line the sock, but folded over the edge and added a strap, so it's very simple.
