This circular needle set is of excellent quality. It's a great beginner's set, but it's also a great tool for advanced knitters to use for many different patterns. The set contains 6 different needle sizes.
The needles are made of birch wood, which is a lightweight yet very strong natural material. The wood makes the sticks nice and soft to hold. They feel warm in your hands and are comfortable to knit with - even for long periods of time. The soft and smooth surface of the needles makes the stitches glide easily as you knit.
The advantage of interchangeable circular needles is that you can quickly and easily vary both the length and thickness of the circular needle, so you don't need to have a large stock of different sizes. With this set, it's easy to make the exact circular needle you need for each knitting pattern.
The wires in the set are memory-free with a 360-degree rotation joint. These wires therefore do not twist in the same way as wires without a rotation joint, making these knitting needles more comfortable to knit with.
To change the wire or needle, use the included tension wrench. Screw the desired wire and needle together. Insert the wrench into the small hole at the end of the wire. Hold the wire with one hand and turn the key with the other hand. When tightening, make sure that the pin and the wire are firmly together, and when you need to loosen the pin from the wire again, use the key again to loosen it.
The circular needle set comes in a practical fabric cover that can hold the needle, wires and other equipment.
