Mayflower 1 Class Tweed sock yarn is inspired by the well-known 1 Class quality. The yarn is spun on long fibers of soft, warm mulesing-free wool and durable polyamide, which is the optimal basis for a comfortable and durable sock.
In addition, viscose is added to the yarn in the form of tweed cables, which come in either muted, natural colors or multi-colored tweed. The tweeds give the knitted socks a beautiful look and a mottled play of colors. The yarn is great to knit with and makes for comfortable socks.
As the wool is superwash treated, the socks can easily be machine washed.
